Event/Movie Poster
Description
We were commissioned by The Loft Cinema to create a poster for their annual Scream-O-Rama event. We created a fictional product and advertisement for each of the seven movies shown at the twelve hour horror movie extravaganza. Reading through the text is highly recommended.
A limited edition, two-color (black, fire red) hand-pulled 18″×24″ screenprint on 80lb, 100% PCW recycled cover stock.
Once again we worked with BICAS to make a screenprinted poster coinciding with their annual art auction. The poster features various illustrations related to Tucson and, of course, bikes. We printed two color variations, each an edition of 50.
A limited edition, three-color hand-pulled 18″×24″ screenprint on 100lb, 100% recycled cover stock.
We participated in the 2011 VelociPrint Bike Art Show, held at the newly opened Borderlands Brewery in downtown Tucson, Arizona. This print was one of two entries, a four color serpent. This might be a bit braggy, but we've gotta say — we nailed the printing on this one.
A limited edition, four-color (brick-brown, eggplant-brown, warm light grey, dark grey) hand-pulled 18″×24″ screenprint on 80lb, 100% PCW recycled cover stock.
This print was the second of our two submissions in the 2011 VelociPrint Bike Art Show, held at the newly opened Borderlands Brewery in downtown Tucson, Arizona. We used an overprint to achieve the third color (the brown).
A limited edition, two-color (transparent red-orange, transparent mint green) hand-pulled 18″×24″ screenprint on 110lb, 100% PCW recycled cover stock.
A gig poster created for the last leg of Other Lives' 2011 North American tour.
A limited edition, one-color (tan) hand-pulled 18″×24″ screenprint on 80lb, 50% PCW recycled cover stock.

We worked with the Bicycle Inter-Community Art & Salvage, or BICAS for short, to create an ongoing series of screeprinted posters. They described the target audience for the posters as hardcore bikers, punks that only wear black and red, and carnivalesque-and-DIY-kind-of-people.
This one is of course for the carnies.

Bat Night 2010
Screenprinted Poster
Description
An estimated 5,000 people attended the Rillito River Project's yearly event, Bat Night, which celebrates the local bat population while raising awareness about the steeply declining water tables that endanger their habitat.
The client requested “dark and mysterious, yet family friendly,” a feeling we created using silhouettes of the indigenous mexican free-tail bats paired with warm typography.

For a majority of human existence, we were hunters and gatherers. In the modern age, we are consumers. Not that the latter is necessarily bad, we're just pointing it out for the sake of discussion.
